What are cards and how do you draw them? A step-by-step card guide
Cards make your units permanently stronger and survive evolving. How to draw them with Seals, how they level up and what rarity means, with screenshots.
In battle, gold does not raise your units' damage and health; cards do. Cards are your permanent power in Minestones: a card you draw stays with you, even when you evolve. In this post we open the cards page step by step, do a draw and read the result.
The cards page: draw buttons at the top, your collection below.
What does a card do?
- Every card gives either Power (your units' damage) or Health (your units' health). The effect is a multiplier, e.g. "Power ×1.10".
- You do not equip cards. A card counts the moment you draw it and works on all your units by itself.
- Cards of the same stat add up: the more cards you have, the stronger your army.
- Cards come in four rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Rarer cards give bigger multipliers.
- They survive evolving. Gold and upgrades reset, cards stay.
Step 1: open the cards page
- Type
/msin chat. - On row 3, click the enchanted book left of the battle sword, "✦ Cards".
Shortcut: /ms cards opens the page directly.
Main menu → ✦ Cards. It shows how many cards you have found and your total multiplier.
Step 2: get to know the page
- Row 1 middle, the book "Your card power": your total Power and Health multipliers, the level thresholds and the rules.
- Row 2 left, Eye of Ender "Draw a card": one card for 60 Seals.
- Row 2 middle, "📜 Seals": the Seals you have.
- Row 2 right, Ender chest "Draw 10 cards": ten cards for 550 Seals. Cheaper than drawing one by one, and it guarantees at least one rare card.
- Rows 3–5: your collection. Cards you found glow, the rest say "(not found)".
- Row 6: page arrows (the game has 34 cards on two pages) and "← Main menu" in the middle.
Your card power: the total multiplier and the rules.
Step 3: draw cards
- If you have enough Seals, the draw button glows. If not, the price is red.
- Click "Draw 10 cards".
- The Seals are taken and your best card appears in the middle of the screen. Every result is listed in chat, e.g. "✦ New card: Silver Arrow [Rare] — Level 1 x1.10".
- The menu stays open and refreshes at once: your new cards now glow.
Drawing ten: 550 Seals, at least one rare card.
The best card of a draw appears in the middle of the screen.
Epic guarantee: the draw buttons show how many draws are left until a guaranteed epic. An epic card comes within 10 draws at the latest.
Step 4: read a card
Hover a card to see:
- its name and level, e.g. "[Lv. 2]";
- its rarity;
- its effect (Power or Health multiplier);
- how many copies you have and how far the next level is.
A card's level, multiplier and copies.
How do cards level up?
Drawing a card you already have counts as a copy. Copies level the card up: at 1, 4, 10, 20 and 40 copies, from level 1 to 5. When a card levels up, a big title in the middle of the screen shows its multiplier going from the old value to the new one. Extra copies of a card at the top level are not wasted: they come back as Seals.
After a draw: the newly found cards glow.
Where do Seals come from?
- battles: battles won for the first time and replays of past battles;
- daily and weekly quests (
/quests); - crates (
/crates); - the store (
/store, buying happens on the website).
